About Us
Transforming the Future
of Food
The global fishing industry — one of humanity's most essential food systems — still throws away half of every fish it catches. Traditional processing utilizes only 35–50% of each fish; the rest is discarded, taking with it lost nutrition, disposal costs, and a heavy environmental toll. Until now.
Ecource Ltd. is an Israeli company built on one conviction: waste is not inevitable — it is a failure of technology. Our patent-pending whole-fish processing technology accepts wild-capture and aquaculture seafood of all species, sizes, and product forms, and utilizes 100% of every fish — doubling food output from every ton of raw material.
It all started at Gradient Ltd. — a company founded and led by Noam Weinberg Sehayek. Drawing on years of experience in value-added seafood at Gradient Ltd., and witnessing firsthand a world increasingly in need of food solutions, Noam identified a game-changing opportunity in seafood processing so transformative that it demanded its own dedicated focus. Rather than developing it as a side venture, he made the decisive move to establish Ecource as a standalone company — assembling a team of vastly experienced professionals in food technology, aquaculture, and global markets. Noam himself stepped into the role of CEO at Ecource, committing fully to what he believes is the next great leap in the global food industry.
The impact cascades across the entire value chain: double the yield for processors, elimination of waste-disposal costs, a measurable reduction in carbon emissions converting directly into CO₂ credits, and healthier premium products at lower prices for consumers.
Food security is now an immediate national priority worldwide. Supply chains are fragile, protein demand is accelerating, and sustainability mandates are becoming law. The world needs solutions that do more with what already exists — and Ecource is exactly that.
The whole fish. Zero waste. Double the value.
The future of food is not producing more animals — it is respecting every gram of the ones we already harvest

The Problem
A Broken Food System
More than half of Every Fish We Produce Goes to Waste
The world is running short of food — yet conventional food processing discards up to 65% of every fish.
This is a structural crisis, not an operational one.
Seafood Production Is ~50% Inefficient
Traditional filleting recovers only 35–50% of each fish for human consumption. Bones, skin, head, fins, and viscera — comprising ~50% of the fish, equal to about 60 MT — are discarded, rendered for fishmeal, or used in pet food.
Hunger & Food Scarcity
733 million people are chronically hungry (FAO 2024). By 2050, the world will have 9.7B people. Existing production cannot close the gap with conventional methods — yet we discard enormous volumes of highly nutritious food every single day.
Bycatch & Sorting Mortality
9.1 MT/year of marine fish are discarded as bycatch (FAO 2024). Fish outside target sizes face >90% mortality after 20–30 minutes out of water — killed and discarded because of an arbitrary size threshold.
Farm Mortality Before Harvest
Farmed seafood globally loses 8–15 MT/year pre-harvest to disease, stress, and suboptimal conditions. Norwegian salmon alone: 15–20% mortality before slaughter. These fish die and never reach human consumption.
$150B+
in annual fish biomass value is wasted or severely underutilized by conventional processing worldwide
Our Solution
A Breakthrough in
Food Processing
Ecource has engineered a proprietary processing technology that fundamentally changes the economics of fish processing. Instead of discarding 50–65% of every fish, our system converts the full biomass into high-value food products — effectively doubling the yield from every tonne processed. The technology is species-agnostic and size-independent, making it deployable across the full spectrum of global fisheries worldwide.
Fish is where our story began. Rooted in the founder's 25 years of hands-on experience across the seafood and aquaculture markets, Ecource was built from the inside out — by someone who understood the industry's inefficiencies firsthand and was determined to solve them at their core. As the technology matured and proved itself, its potential became clear far beyond the water: we have since developed and adapted our whole-biomass processing system for Poultry, Beef, and Pork as well — bringing the same zero-waste, maximum-yield transformation to the broader protein industry.
Request confidential technology overview →Whole-Fish Processing
Our technology processes the entire fish — not just fillets. Every part is converted into a premium product with zero biomass wasted.
All Species, Sizes & Product Forms
Unlike rigid industrial lines, our system accepts any seafood species from any source — wild-capture & aquaculture — at any size, and any product form.
2× Yield Output
By utilizing double the quantity of each fish, processors dramatically increase revenue per tonne without increasing their raw material costs.
Patent-Pending Protection
Our core processing methodology & products are protected by a pending patents, in 40 countries, providing a durable competitive moat for Ecource and its partners.

Why the Whole Biomass Industry Is Ready for Disruption
- ✓733 million people are chronically hungry — conventional processing discards up to 65% of every Seafood, Poultry, Beef, and Pork animal processed
- ✓Global animal protein production exceeds 500 MT/year across Seafood, Poultry, Beef, and Pork — with more than half the biomass value lost to waste
- ✓Regulatory pressure to eliminate organic waste and reduce emissions is tightening across EU, US, and Asian markets for all protein categories
- ✓Consumer and institutional demand for clean-label, nutrient-dense, sustainably produced food is accelerating across all animal protein categories
- ✓ESG mandates and carbon credit frameworks reward measurable, large-scale waste elimination — directly rewarding the Ecource model
Why Now?
The convergence of global protein demand, rising sustainability mandates, and the structural inefficiency of conventional biomass processing across Seafood, Poultry, Beef, and Pork has created a perfect window for disruptive technology. Ecource is production-ready.
Why Ecource?
We are the only company with a patent-pending technology capable of processing any species and size — Seafood, Poultry, Beef, and Pork — into premium food products with 100% biomass utilization and zero waste. This is not an incremental improvement; it is a structural shift in how the world processes animal protein.

The Healthiest Food. The Most Affordable Price.
No Longer a Paradox.
The parts of every fish that conventional processing discards — bones, skin, organs, frames — previously sold to pet food or simply thrown away — Ecource converts entirely into premium human-grade food. The result: eight categories of products covering every consumer type, from everyday staples to functional innovations, multiplying revenue opportunities for producers. And because we extract nearly double the food from every ton of raw material, the cost advantage flows directly to consumers — making premium nutrition genuinely price-friendly.
